Shipping & Return Policy:
When
you order one of our products over the phone or via the internet, you are
agreeing that you have read, understand, and agree to our Shipping & Return
policy.
Nationwide shipping is available for all of our
products. When not shipped on our own trucks, products are shipped via
commercial freight lines. Orders outside of the connecting 48 US states are also
welcome, but all shipping will need to be arranged by customer and paid for by
certified bank check in US funds only.
All deliveries are "curb-side," meaning that the shipping company is only responsible for getting the product to the customer's address. Any special delivery request or unloading at a different location on the property (other then "curb-side") or change of address all together, can result in an additional shipping charge. The customer is responsible for unloading the product from the truck and taking it to their desired location after the driver has left.
For most smaller orders, a couple of people will be all it takes to get the products off the truck. For larger orders or extremely heavy products such as horse stalls, roping chutes, big framed gates or other heavy corral panels; it may require several people and/or a heavy-duty forklift to lower the products to the ground. Please Note: Drivers are not responsible for unloading your order. If you are not prepared when your order arrives, any delay may result in additional fees.
When using commercial freight companies, there will also be a fee when required or requested to make a delivery at a residential or non-Commercial location. The term non-Commercial applies to private residences, apartments, churches, schools, camps, and other such locations not generally recognized as commercial business locations.
If you would like to save the additional Residential Delivery Fee, or the freight company is unable to deliver to your place of residence, you can opt for a terminal delivery or have the products delivered to your business or another business that can accept and unload the order when it arrives. With a terminal delivery, the product is taken to the nearest shipping terminal and held until you pick it up. If it stays at the terminal too long, the freight company may charge storage fees.
Note: We cannot be held liable for delays caused by the shipper. If the buyer refuses to accept a shipment for any reason, C & S Iron is entitled to be compensated for all shipping charges to and from and a 20% restocking fee. Custom orders are non-refundable under any circumstances. If an order has to be re-delivered because buyer wasn't ready, or unavailable or property was not accessible by shipper's truck and trailer, all re-delivery fees and/or delivery to another location are the responsibility of the buyer and must be paid to C & S Iron before a re-delivery occurs.
How Shipping Charges are Calculated:
We
search for the best possible rate to ship our products to you. Shipping rates
are most generally based on the total weight of the order. There is no minimum
order, but because our products are heavy and bulky (other then some parts),
they can only be shipped via commercial freight lines or on our own semi-truck
(if in our shipping zone). Thus the more you order, the better the price per
piece will be. Depending on where you are located; on certain large orders,
you will receive a special discount on the shipping.
You can also arrange to pick up your order from our factory by you or another party. Our factory pick up hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am-11:30 am, 1 pm - 4:30 pm. Central Standard Time. We are closed on weekends.
Receiving Time:
When your order is shipped, we
will contact you via email or phone to provide the name of the freight
company shipping the product and the PRO tracking number if available.
Depending on what freight company we use to ship your order, delivery time can
vary. Usually it takes 1-2 weeks on commercial carriers. If shipped on our own
trucks, it may only take 1-3 days or sooner, depending on your location.
Damaged Freight:
When
shipping out of our range on other commercial trucks, C & S Iron is not liable in
the case of any material damage caused to our products once it
leaves our location. Any problems with damaged products caused from
shipping and all other shipping complaints must be claimed through the
commercial shipping carrier. Any loss or refund will have to be
issued from the commercial shipping carrier and not C & S Iron. Please make
sure you count the pieces to your order and inspect for damage prior to the
driver leaving. There is no recourse
for damaged or missing freight if it is not noted on the original bill of lading
and reported to the carrier at the time of delivery.
Please Note: Every product that leaves our factory is brand new, but the expense of boxing and crating these items is prohibitive. Such shipments may incur minor damages (scraped paint or small dents). We ask that you take this into consideration as you examine the merchandise upon delivery.

Delivery
Notification - $30.00 minimum (Note: If
shipped to a commercial business location, the
freight company will not notify you before delivery unless you pay this
notification fee.)
Lift Gate Service - $100.00 minimum
Residential Delivery - $60.00 dollars minimum (This fee includes notification
before delivery is made.)
Re-consignment (change of delivery address or name) - $50.00 minimum
